Game day jewelry has one hard requirement that nobody mentions: it has to survive the day. Six hours outside, heat, a tailgate, rain that was not forecast, and a shower afterwards.

Seven necklaces, all $39. Six Sadie Bow colourways and a State of Texas pendant, all gold-toned. Every one is 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, every one is rated waterproof, and every one is made to ASTM F2923-20.

Six colours and a state

Sadie Bow is the bow pendant, and it comes in six colours chosen to cover most of the teams people actually dress for: maroon, orange, red, purple, white and light pink. The light pink is the strongest seller of the six, which says something about how many of these get worn well beyond a Saturday.

State of Texas in gold is the other one — the state outline rather than a team, which is why it works in October and in June.

It is a small page on purpose. A bow in your colour and a state pendant covers most of what game day actually needs from a necklace; the rest of the effort goes into the earrings.

The specs, plainly
  • Material: 316L surgical-grade stainless steel, on all seven.
  • Waterproof: all seven are rated for shower, pool, ocean and sweat.
  • Safety standard: ASTM F2923-20, on all seven.
  • Price: $39. There is no other price on this page.

Chain length is listed on each product page.

Why this holds up outdoors

Heat and sweat are what kill costume jewelry. A plated brass chain worn for six hours in September in Texas is a chain with worn plating and oxidised copper underneath, and the mark it leaves on a neck is the giveaway.

These are a gold finish over 316L surgical-grade stainless steel. No copper to oxidise, no nickel to react against skin, and a waterproof rating that covers sweat as well as the shower afterwards. The same reason works for a child at a game as for an adult — all seven are made to the US children's jewelry standard.

Also worth seeing

The earrings are where the range really is: game day flat back earrings covers thirty-four screw back studs in team colours, state outlines and licensed logos, and game day statement earrings has eighteen acetate styles for the ones that need to be seen from the stands.

If you are playing rather than watching, sports earrings and necklaces carries the motifs by sport. The same Sadie Bow shape is also a stud at bow flat back studs, and the whole necklace range sits at waterproof necklaces.

Everything in the shop built to be left on is gathered in hypoallergenic waterproof jewelry.

Questions

Will it survive a whole game day?

That is what it is built for. Steel rather than plated brass, rated for sweat and rain, and fine in the shower afterwards. Heat does nothing to it.

Can my daughter wear one?

Yes. All seven are made to ASTM F2923-20, the US children's jewelry standard, which limits lead and cadmium content, restricts nickel release and sets requirements around small parts. Chain length is on each product page, which is the number that decides the fit.

Do the colours match specific teams?

They are colours rather than licensed team products — maroon, orange, red, purple, white and light pink cover a lot of ground between them. The licensed logos are on game day flat back earrings.

Is there an earring to match?

Sadie Bow exists as a screw back stud in the same colours. Matching jewelry sets lists the pieces sold as designed pairs.

Can I wear it in the pool afterwards?

Yes — all seven carry a waterproof rating for shower, chlorine pool, ocean and sweat. Rinse with fresh water and dry it afterwards; chlorine residue left on a chain is what dulls a finish over time.
