Game Day Statement Earrings
An 80mm earring that weighs anything is one you take off at halftime. That is the problem with statement earrings on a game day — eight hours in the stands, heat, a hat, a crowd, and most oversized earrings are metal, which means weight on the lobe from kickoff to the drive home.
These are acetate, which is why they can be this big without being heavy. Eighteen styles in stock: crimson, maroon and maroon camo, metallic orange, purple, black, white, and a burnt-orange-on-pearl Texas colourway. Four shapes — Kaelyn and Kennedy at 70mm, Michelle at 75mm, Flora at 80mm. Thirteen of the eighteen are $24, and the floor is $12.
Four shapes, eight colour families
Kaelyn is the widest run — eight in stock at 70mm: crimson, crimson glitter, maroon, maroon camo, metallic orange, true black, true white and true purple. Kennedy is the geometric one, also 70mm, six in stock: maroon, maroon camo, metallic orange, red glitter, purple glitter and Texas Pearl. Flora is the big one at 80mm — crimson, metallic orange and Texas Pearl. Michelle is a single sculpted 75mm petal in pearlized purple.
Between them: four maroon, three crimson, three metallic orange, three purple, two Texas Pearl (burnt orange on pearlized cream), one black, one white, one red glitter — most Southern school palettes, without a logo on anything.
Why acetate rather than metal
Scale is the point of a statement earring, and scale is what metal punishes you for. At 70 to 80mm, metal is a weight you notice by the third quarter. All the styles in stock record their material as acetate with a 316L surgical-grade stainless steel post — the acetate carries the shape, the steel only goes through your ear.

Questions
Can you wear these in the rain or a pool?
We would not. None of the styles here carries a water rating, and we do not recommend water for acetate. The flat back studs are rated for it; these are not.
How heavy are they for the size?
Light for the size — the reason to buy acetate at this scale. Fourteen styles are 70mm; Flora at 80mm is the biggest here and still an acetate body.
What do they cost?
Thirteen of the eighteen in stock are $24. Purple glitter Kennedy is $12, Michelle $40, the three Flora styles $50 — a $12 floor, a $50 ceiling.
Do you have my school's colours?
Probably, if it is a red, an orange or a purple. Four maroon, three crimson, three metallic orange, three purple, plus black, white and burnt-orange-on-pearl. Navy and green are not here.
