Bow Stud Earrings
A bow stud is a small thing that changes an outfit, which is why it is the easiest earring in the shop to own several of. At $12 to $24, most people do.
Twelve here, all cut from acetate — the material eyeglass frames are made from, which is what lets a bow hold glitter, iridescence and tie dye that metal cannot. The post on every one is 316L surgical-grade stainless steel.

Push back, not screw back — and why that matters
Most of what LINNY CO makes is a screw back: the post threads into a flat disc that sits behind the lobe, so it cannot work loose and there is nothing to press into your head on a pillow. That is the range at screw back flat back studs.
These are not that. A push back stud has a standard silicone back that pushes on, which is the ordinary way earrings work and the reason people lose them. It is a fair trade at this price for an earring you are choosing to suit an outfit rather than one you never take out — but it is worth knowing which you are buying.

Questions
Can I shower or swim in these?
No. None of the twelve is rated for water. Acetate is durable in ordinary wear but chlorine, saltwater and repeated soaking will damage it. Take them out first, and dry them if they get caught in the rain.
What kind of back do they have?
A push back with a standard silicone back. That is different from most of the range, which uses a screw-on flat back. If a secure back matters — for a child, or for an earring you never remove — the bow flat back studs are the screw back version of the same shape.
Are they safe for sensitive ears?
The post is 316L surgical-grade stainless steel on all twelve, and the post is the only part that sits inside your piercing. The acetate never touches it.
Are these suitable for a child?
They are lightweight and the material is fine, but none of the twelve is made to ASTM F2923-20, the US children's jewelry standard, and a push back is easier for a child to lose. Kids' hypoallergenic flat back studs is the range built for children, screw back and tested to the standard.
Why acetate rather than enamel or metal?
Because of what it can hold. Acetate is moulded and polished rather than cast, so it takes glitter, iridescence, marbling and transparent colour that enamel and plated metal cannot reproduce — and it weighs almost nothing in a bow this size.
