Game day jewelry usually has one job and does it badly: it looks like team merchandise, so it comes off before dinner.
These are studs first. A 12mm bow in maroon, a heart in purple, a state outline in gold — the colour does the work, and nobody outside the stadium reads them as merchandise. Thirty-three styles, including six officially licensed Texas A&M logos and state outlines for Texas, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana and Tennessee.
All thirty-three are 316L surgical-grade stainless steel on a 20-gauge screw back post, and all thirty-three are rated waterproof. That matters more on a game day than most days: eight hours outside, a tailgate, weather, and an earring that cannot be knocked out in a crowd.
Most of this collection is colour rather than branding, which is the point. Sadie Bow comes in six — maroon, orange, purple, green, true blue and white. Nora Heart in purple, red and white. Alli in purple and white. Leo in red and clear. Madison and Micro Cooper in clear, which is what you wear as the neutral in a stack.
Between them they cover most school palettes. A maroon bow reads as Aggie in College Station and as a bow everywhere else, which is why these stay in after the game.
Six styles carry the officially licensed ATM logo — the Alice logo, the block logo and the state logo, each in gold and silver, at $38. They are the only licensed collegiate product in the shop.
Texas in two sizes, plus Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana and Tennessee. In the South a state outline is football wear as much as anything else, and they sell like it — Texas Steer did 314 pairs last year and Petite State of Texas 224, which puts both in the store's top fifteen.
Also here: the Gator, and Paw Print in gold and silver for anyone whose mascot has one.
Every style is 316L surgical-grade stainless steel with a 20G (0.8mm), 7mm post, all thirty-three are rated waterproof, and all thirty-three are made to ASTM F2923-20 — the US children's jewelry standard, which is why 25 of them are also sold as kids' styles. Twenty-four state that they are nickel free.
The screw back is the practical part. In a crowd, a push-back stud is one shoulder away from being gone.
Studs are $32; the licensed A&M styles are $38.
Sports earrings and necklaces has the softball, volleyball, baseball and soccer motifs — for the player rather than the spectator.
Yes. Six styles carry the officially licensed ATM logo — the Alice logo, the block logo and the state logo, in gold and silver. They are the only licensed collegiate styles in the shop.
That is what they are built for. The post is 316L surgical-grade stainless steel at 20 gauge, the back screws on rather than pushing on, and all thirty-three styles are rated waterproof — so heat, rain and eight hours outside are not a problem.
Between Sadie Bow in six colours, Nora Heart in three, Alli in two and Leo in two, most palettes are covered, and Madison and Micro Cooper in clear work as the neutral. If your school's exact shade isn't here, the clear styles pair with anything.
All thirty-three are made to ASTM F2923-20, the US standard for children's jewelry, and 25 are sold as children's styles. The screw back is the reason — it does not come out in a crowd, on a slide, or over a jersey.
That is the argument for buying colour rather than a logo. A maroon bow or a purple heart is a stud that happens to match your team. The licensed A&M styles are the exception, and they are meant to be read.
